So one day, I became single. No fan fair, no tale of heartbreak, no bitterness or woe, it just was.
Moved out, moved in. I relished the alone time, the quiet, the me-ness" of it all,
going from sharing a place with someone for several years, to having your own space is, well, rejuvenating. Also, I was a newcomer to the city of Toronto, so despite the fear and anxiety of a breakup, I felt free. Free to do what I want, when I wanted, and to date who I wanted, whenever I wanted, and the big city was indeed my playground.
So after a spell, I dove head first into the anti-social, always confusing, frustrating, back-asswards world of online dating, and kept an illustrated record of it.
This is that record, a single, illustrated.
